Michele  
I’ve been the practice manager for Traverse Dental since 2004 and have enjoyed being a part of such a dedicated and caring group of professionals.  I’m a graduate of Central Michigan University and also attended the University of Michigan where I completed the practice management series through the UM Dental School of Continuing Education.  In 2010 our office was named one of the Top 10 Small Businesses by the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce and each one of our team members was an integral part in making that happen.  Whether you are a current patient or someone considering partnering with TDA for your dental needs, please know I am always available to take your questions and comments.
   

HYGIENISTS

  
Becky  
I began working at Traverse Dental as a substitute hygienist in 2005.  I am happy to have joined as a permanent member of the dental hygiene team a few years later and am a big fan of dental continuing education.  My husband and I have two daughters.  When I am not working as a dental hygienist, I am an interpreter for the deaf and find this an amazing opportunity as well.
   
Carrie  
My name is Carrie Geib and I graduated from Ferris State University in May of 2001.  I have been a part of the Traverse Dental team since September 2003.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Matt, and we have one son, Bode.
   
Deb  
I am Deb Eikey and I have had the privilege of being a long standing hygienist with Traverse Dental.  Through the years I’ve professionally cared for many of our clients.  In addition to being one of your health partners, I’ve enjoyed the many life lessons you have shared with me.  I have learned from your wisdom.
   
Kathy  
My name is Kathy Nemshick and I have been working in the dental profession for over 35 years after graduating from Oakland Community College in 1984.  I’ve been with Traverse Dental since 1991 as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  In 2003, I became one of the first hygienists in the state to be certified to administer local anesthesia.  I have been married 29 years to my husband, Pat and we have two adult sons, Patrick and Philip.
   
Lora  
I joined the staff of TDA in 2009 as part of the dental hygiene team and am a native of northern Michigan.  My family and I are huge fans of geocaching!
   
Nicole  
I am a Traverse City native and have been at TDA since 1999 as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  I am married and have two daughters.
   
Susan  
I have been a dental hygienist with TDA since 1990.  I feel fortunate to enjoy the long lasting relationships I have developed with patients over that time.  I am married and have two teenage sons and love living in the Grand Traverse area.
   

ASSISTANTS

  
   
Cassie  
I have been part of the TDA team since 1998 as a surgical dental assistant.  It is such a great feeling rebuilding smiles for people.  I enjoy spending time with my two children, cooking, baking and gardening.
   
Dawn  
I graduated from a dental assisting program in Ann Arbor in 1991 and moved to the Traverse City area in 2000 with my family.  I started working with the great team at TDA in 2005.
   
Diane  
I have been a dental assistant since 1972 and joined TDA in 2004.  Married with three grown children and five grandchildren most of my time is spent with my family.  I also enjoy gardening.
   
Lisa  
I have been at Traverse Dental Associates since 2005 as a hygiene assistant and sterilization technician.  I enjoy walking, crocheting and watching my daughter grow into an amazing person.
   
Sondra  
I’ve been in the dental field for over 30 years and work as a dental assistant.  I’ve been with TDA since 2000 and I love my patients!
   

BUSINESS STAFF

I’ve been employed at TDA for many years.  As the doctor scheduling coordinator, I really enjoy the interactions and friendship of our patients.
   
Joy  
I am the hygiene schedule coordinator and have been with TDA for many years.  The best part of my job is seeing each patient as they visit our office.  I have three children and enjoy spending time with them and also love being outdoors.
   
Nancy  
My name is Nancy and I have been the insurance coordinator at Traverse Dental Associates since January 1995.  I live in the Interlochen area with my husband, Cliff and our two labs, Winston and Brock.
   
Rachel  
I joined TDA in 2009 as the receptionist and have enjoyed getting to know the patients of our office.  So many of you have been here for many generations! I love being a member of this dental team. My husband and our two children enjoy many activities that our beautiful area has to offer.
